Notice to Employers

If you have an employee who has violated Federal DOT regulations (49CFR Part 40) and is in need of a qualified Substance Use Professional (SAP), Alan Algee has met the qualifications of the DOT regulations. In order to qualify as an SAP, providers must meet the training and testing requirements outlined by DOT.

Notice to Employees

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) primary safety objective regarding substance use is to prevent alcohol and other controlled substance users from performing transportation safety-sensitive functions. To assist in the process, the substance use professional (SAP) is charged with duties important to the evaluation, referral, and treatment of employees identified as being positive for alcohol or controlled substances or who have refused to be tested.
